Happiness is.....Warmth!

Well, my dad and step-mom finally did it! They have moved to Scottsdale,AZ. Sad to see them go but we went to visit on the 26th of December and holly cow! I love the warmth....year around! We had a wonderful time despite the quick trip. Their home is beautiful and I can't wait to hang out at the pool in the summer;0) The house they are selling here is the home I grew up in. I remember the neighborhood quite well growing up. Where all my best friends lived, my swimming lesson house, my babysitters house, my elementary school right around the corner. Hard to believe that I now have a different place I call home and make memories in for my children. My dad had lived there something like 43 years so moving or shall I say packing was quite the adventure. Anyway, back to happiness and warmth. I plan on long visits in the winter because I am a wimp when it comes to cold. And Heaven knows Albuquerque can get cold! in the low teens tonight! Darn. Did I say I'm a wimp when it comes to cold? AAhhhhWWWWW....Happiness is warmth:0)

JERSKATES: Happy Holidays!

Here is my son skating. This is his passion. It is neat to see him and his friends hard work. It takes them so long to crate these films and I'm so impressed how they turn out! Enjoy:0)

Happiness is......family.

Wow! I haven't posted in a very long time. Does anyone still read this? Hummmm. If you do you must let me know. I hate being in the dark. I am sitting here thinking of family. Family is so wonderful. From my own little ones and my big wonderful hubby to my mom and dad, sister and niece, my nephew, and the large extended family all over the United States. We had the most wonderful time this summer when we attend my brother-in-laws wedding in NV. We stopped in Vegas to see my mom's sisters and my cousin then headed out to Carson City for the wedding. I haven't had much opportunity to see Ted's family and was thrilled to get to spend time with them. I truly love them! I adore my nephews and had a wonderful time getting to be known as Auntie Susan to them. I wish we all lived closer....
Anyway, happiness is truly family. I love you all (even if you don't read this....darn facebook has taken over)
