Ahhhh...who doesn't love Christmas time? Baking, Christmas trees, presents, snow, hustle and bustle around town, stress, oh yeah...and the birth of Christ!
This year Ted and I decided not to be insane gift givers to our kids. Over the years Christmas has become a consumer holiday that drowns out the real reason for the season and we intend to bring back the real reason to our children. I hope other parents (religious or not) will do the same. We bought each kiddo a few special gifts and intend on talking about the REAL reason we celebrate Christmas. I can't wait to spend this holiday with my family an enjoy the love we share for each other. MERRY CHRISTMAS to our family and friends, near and far!

How cute - Ev in the box!!! We also celebrate the birth of Christ at our house. We read the Christmas story BEFORE we open gifts. It is sad that so many times Christ is left out of this holiday.
As Christians we are called to be SET APART and that means that we don't do things the way the world does things. We are different in the way we LIVE. I am glad you guys highlight Christ!!
